For some very remote schools it
proves more economically viable to run a series of
writing workshops via video link up using a combination
of existing digital technology (smart boards, broadband
internet etc).
Each 40 minute session covers a
different element of narrative writing and student’s
work is developed over the course of multiple sessions.
Schools generally benefit from organising into clusters
of three or four and sharing a half day time slot.
Sessions are hosted via Department of Education
facilities.

A
Dead Bones
Society remote video workshop can be hosted via the
Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum (including
virtual tours).
Rates are $150 per 40 minute
session (limit one school per session).
Feedback and assessment of the
students’ individual work is available (if required, at
additional cost). |
